★ 4.8 out of 5 (127 reviews)
The briefs are a perfect fit and don’t stick to my skin like many competitor brands do in the summer heat. They provide comfort to do my work and freedom to move as I need and stay in place
Locky - Townsville
These are the boxer briefs I make sure to put on when I'm working outside.
— Jason, Adelaide
The waistband isn't quite as thick as other pairs, but I never experienced them rolling.
— Frank, Perth
The quick-dry version beats out the competition, leaving you feeling drier down south as well, especially when you're handling a sunny day on the tools.
— Peter, Sydney

FAQ : Testicular Health
Q1. Why is testicular health so important?
Healthy testes are key to sperm production, testosterone balance, and overall vitality. Poor testicular health can affect fertility, energy, mood, and long-term hormonal health.
Q2. How does underwear choice impact fertility?
Supportive, breathable underwear—like SLY Collective’s Black Bamboo Boxer Briefs—keeps the scrotum cooler by reducing skin-on-skin contact and improving airflow, helping maintain the ideal temperature for sperm production.
Q3. Should I wear tight briefs or loose boxers?
Avoid overly tight styles that trap heat. Choose ergonomically designed pouch boxer briefs (such as SLY’s bamboo range) for gentle lift and support without compression.
Q4. Can overheating really lower sperm count?
Yes. Even a 1 °C rise can reduce sperm count by up to 14%. Hot tubs, laptops on laps, and tight synthetic underwear are common culprits.
Q5. What daily habits help keep testicles cool?
Wear breathable underwear, keep devices off your lap, stand and stretch hourly, and sleep in loose shorts or commando if comfortable.
Q6. Are bamboo fabrics better for testicular health?
Yes. Bamboo is naturally breathable, moisture-wicking, and soft—ideal for supportive underwear like SLY Collective’s Black Bamboo Boxer Briefs.
Q7. How often should men do a self-exam?
Once a month in a warm shower. Feel for new lumps, changes in size, or a “bag of worms” texture (possible varicocele).
Q8. Can supportive underwear reduce chafing and discomfort?
Yes. Pouch boxer briefs reduce friction to prevent chafing and improve comfort. SLY’s ergonomic pouch holds the testes naturally for all-day support.
Q9. Does exercise affect testicular health?
Regular activity improves circulation and hormone balance. Aim for 150–300 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise plus two strength sessions weekly.
Q10. What nutrients boost sperm quality?
Zinc, selenium, omega-3s, folate, and vitamins C, E, and D help. Favour a Mediterranean-style diet with fish, nuts, seeds, and colourful vegetables.
Q11. Is sitting all day harmful?
Yes. Prolonged sitting raises scrotal temperature and reduces blood flow. Stand or walk every hour to improve circulation.
Q12. Do chemicals like BPA matter?
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals can interfere with hormones. Avoid microwaving plastic, choose phthalate-free products, and minimise contact with thermal receipts.
Q13. Can stress lower testosterone?
Chronic stress raises cortisol, suppressing testosterone. Prioritise 7–8 hours of sleep and use stress-relief practices like breathing exercises.
Q14. How does weight affect testicular health?
Excess visceral fat converts testosterone to oestrogen and increases inflammation. Aim for a waist-to-hip ratio below 0.9.
Q15. Can supportive underwear aid recovery after surgery or varicocele treatment?
Yes. Structured pouch boxer briefs like SLY’s offer gentle, non-restrictive support often recommended by pelvic health specialists.
Q16. Does cycling affect testicular health?
Use a properly fitted saddle and take standing breaks to reduce perineal pressure and maintain circulation.
Q17. Are saunas safe for testicular health?
Frequent, long sessions can temporarily lower sperm count. If you use saunas, keep sessions brief and cool down promptly.
Q18. Should I wear supportive underwear at night?
If you prefer, yes—choose breathable, soft pairs like SLY Black Bamboo Boxer Briefs to keep the area cool and supported.
Q19. How long before lifestyle changes improve sperm quality?
Sperm development takes about 70–90 days, so consistent healthy habits show results in 2–3 months.
Q20. When should I see a doctor?
See a GP if you notice lumps, persistent pain, heaviness, or sudden changes in size. If trying to conceive without success for 6–12 months, request a semen analysis.
